These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by Atelier Salle à Manger, a restaurant interior design studio based in Paris, France. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Atelier Salle à Manger provides restaurant interior design services including dining floor layouts, bar and waiting zone design, service corridor planning, and related advisory services. The specific scope, deliverables, and fees for each engagement are defined in a separate proposal or contract.

2. Proposals and Contracts

Proposals issued by us are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A contract is formed when you accept a proposal in writing (including email confirmation) and we acknowledge receipt. Verbal agreements are not binding until confirmed in writing.

3. Fees and Payment

All fees are quoted in euros (€) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. A deposit of 40% is required to commence work. The balance is due upon delivery of final deliverables unless alternative payment terms are agreed in writing. Late payments may incur interest at the rate permitted under French commercial law (Article L441-10 of the Code de commerce).

5. Deliverables and Revisions

Deliverables are provided in PDF and DWG format unless otherwise agreed. The number of revision rounds included in each service package is specified in your proposal. Additional revision rounds beyond those included are charged at our hourly consultation rate of €160/h.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the deliverables for the specified project. We retain ownership of our design methodology, templates, and pre-existing intellectual property. We may display completed projects in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before project completion.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our services provide design planning and documentation. We do not supervise construction, specify structural works, or certify compliance with building regulations. You are responsible for engaging qualified contractors and obtaining necessary permits. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the relevant project.

8. Cancellation

Either party may cancel a project before work commences with full refund of any deposit paid. After work has commenced, cancellation terms are as specified in your contract. Deposits are non-refundable once design work has begun, except where we are unable to fulfil our obligations.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary business information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of the contract for a period of three years.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, transmit harmful code, or use automated tools to scrape content without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
